China’s Dominance of 5G Network Poses Questions for the UK
With it already established that Chinese companies will make up over 40% of those leading the infrastructure of the 5G network, many UK companies are now wondering what implications that may have on their information security.
At the recent Munich Security Conference China was a large topic of concern with regards the security of IP and data for US and European nations. With Huawei and ZTE set to play a large part of the 5G infrastructure roll out, these concerns show no signs of stopping in 2020.
If we accept that Chinese companies are going to play this significant role in the 5G network, then we must consider the inevitable security risks that come with that.
