Serbus Pass Cyber Essentials Plus with Flying Colours
Serbus is delighted to announce that we’ve passed our Cyber Essentials Plus for the next year with flying colours.
We’ve received glowing feedback on the security of our IT and network, and high level results on our network vulnerability and systems health checks. Our independent assessor made particularly good remarks on our efforts to continually improve our advanced network security, particularly over the course of the last year when there has been a marked and noticeable rise in persistent threat.
Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed, industry-supported scheme designed to help support organisations protect themselves against the common threats plaguing the online world today. The qualification requires organisations to have a number of technical and procedural controls in place to improve their information security in order to mitigate common internet-borne cyber-attacks.
To be awarded the certification, organisations must undergo a series of tests that provide a further level of assurance that their technical controls have been successfully implemented, company-wide. Cyber Essentials provides assurance that a number of key information security controls are in place within an organisation.
